With history dating back to 1960, Yat Sing is a respected name in the Hong Kong building maintenance and renovation services industry. The decision to go public was a major step for the owners of the business.

Yat Sing’s Chairman, Mr Wilson Liu selected TC Capital as the sponsor for the listing after seeing a few sponsor firms.

“The listing was an interesting new challenge for us,” said Mr Liu. “Working with TC Capital made the journey quite enjoyable. We were very impressed at their work ethic. During crucial periods they were on the job from 9 or 10am until 5am the next day, sending us hourly progress updates by email.”

The due diligence procedure included scrutiny of documents going back 50 years to the company’s foundation. A detailed and comprehensive analysis of all the company’s projects for three years prior to the listing was prepared in the prospectus.

“TC Capital was very professional and took good care of our company during the listing process.” said Mr Liu. “Their prompt and clear responses to stock exchange enquiries certainly expedited the process.”

In operation since 2001, Hong Kong based L&A International has carved out a solid niche for its branded cashmere garments and other apparel lines. The company successfully went public in October 2014.

The company talked with several potential sponsors before adding TC Capital to its listing team.

Executive Director Mr Kenny Yang said, “We learned about TC Capital through a friend who previously had a very good working relationship. We chose them after getting a very good impression from the way they confidently answered our questions and concerns. They went on to make the process as smooth as possible.

Like many companies, L&A faced unexpected complexities during the preparation process for the listing. The assignment required critical time management and couldn’t afford any delay. The TC Capital team redoubled their efforts and managed to issue the prospectus in time.
